“The building of a new home is supposed to be one of the most stressful experiences one can undertake. With Ryan Blake and his team as our Contractors for the recent build of our contemporary new build home, this was not the case for us.

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Ryan by another happy client for whom he had built a house and he was also highly recommended to us by two other parties in the trade. Ryan took on our project with energy and enthusiasm. At every stage of planning the build and the build itself, we had a detailed and open dialogue with Ryan, his office and other members of his team. Communication is key in any project, and the Blakes Team are great communicators.

As our house has an innovative and, in parts, fairly unique design, there were points during the building process where Ryan, the Architect and the Engineers needed to adapt or tweak the original plans and huge thought and care was put into this to ensure the finished product worked in the best possible way. Ryan seems to thrive on a new challenge and this positive, ‘can-do’ attitude is at the heart and soul of every member of his team, who were never anything but cheerful, charming and helpful whatever the weather and demanding clients threw at them! All the sub-contractors involved in our project obviously rated Blakes very highly and were therefore happy to slot in when required and great to have on-site.

Our new home, which is garnering flattering reviews from all our visitors, is everything we had hoped for and more, and we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have had such a happy building experience and now a home of such quality. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blakes Design for a new build or renovation project.”
